Getting your company involved in your community is a great way to boost morale and keep your employees happy! Giving employees time to participate in events during work hours is fun for the whole business. Not only does it give everyone a team building opportunity, but it also gives them the chance to give back to their community!
As a Corporate Supporter of OutFITters Thrift Stores, there are MANY ways to get involved throughout the year. Included are some of the unique ways to get your company and employees involved with OutFITters Thrift Store and Families in Transition.
1. Organize a Collections Drive! You can collect items like gently used clothing, housewares, books, and much more. Our team will help to identify our current “extreme need” at the time of your drive. 100% store profits will go to support the housing and services of Families in Transition.
2. Volunteer as a team at our stores in Manchester or Concord! Work together to sort donations, price items, stock shelves, and much more while having fun with your friends and coworkers. For more information click here.
3.Tour one of Families in Transition’s 18 buildings with a “FIT in an Hour” opportunity. FIT is always looking to have the community visit to learn more about them and see their buildings up close and personal. Sign up for an individual or group tour today or have our team come to you! If you are interested, please contact the Resource Development Office at 603.641.9441 ext. 324 and they can help set something up.
